I think I'm not allowed to give blood.  I was taking some kind of medication a few months ago, and you have to wait about a year before you can donate blood after taking it.
If it wasn't for that, I would totally give blood.  When I was young I would actually watch as they drew the blood out.  I wouldn't look as they stuck the needle in, but once that was done I would turn my head and watch as the vial slowly filled up.

Had my blood taken though and I got a two second glimpse at the syringe.

I do not like blood in real life. Video games? Sure! Bloody as can be and I'll be fine... But real life? It makes me sick. There a term for that?

Squeamishness. So long as I know something's fake, I can deal with it (or if it's a mutilated corpse the cats have left us. I got used to that). However, gory things I know are real make me REALLY uncomfortable. Not ill, I just really, really dislike it.

Reminds me a bit of a thread on /lit/ which was all about recreating classic stories as greentexts. It actually ended up being pretty funny, I remember the Achilles one was notable.
