Certainly, though, if you've consumed enough you can't remember most of the night before and were unable to notice when your face is covered in blood, things have gone more than a wee bit too far. But, well. Yoink is okay with his drinking problem, so there's not really much else to be said on the subject *shrugs*

I feel like I should say: I don't normally get quite that wasted when I go out, this is mainly the fault of drinking spirits and mixers without a shot glass to measure amounts. So, probably three parts spirits to four parts mixer or something like that. >.> Yeah. Then again, it was a lot cheaper than buying the same amount of booze at a bar or club! Hooray!

Theoretical wormholes more shorten the distance between two places, rather than allowing instantaneous travel, yah? Like... the distance across a piece of cloth is 20cm but put a big fold in the middle and you can shorten it to 10cm.

In 1994 Xcom, there was also an energy mechanic, which basically meant that after a few turns, the chryssalids will move slower and slower...

And of course, pathing was just occasionally terrible in oldcom. I've seen reapers fail to kill someone because they instead chose to walk in circles more times than I can count.

I usually just play OpenXcom so I don't get juicy bugs to exploit ;_;
