Okay, on the strength of that I had to go and actually listen to her stuff for the first time.
This Roar song, it's... really not that bad, c'mon. It's actually rather tolerable compared to a lot of modern music. I'm not going to start listening to this regularly any time soon, but at least it's not urban/hip-hop or whatever other crap is popular these days.
Damnit, now Youtube is going to start suggesting Katy Perry songs all the time, no doubt. Thanks a lot, guys. >.>

...Why would there be any issue with them taking their children out on the boat? You might as well say it's wrong and immoral take them on a road trip.

Yea I'm not sure what's wrong with a boat trip either, even a long one like that if the...pilots?...operators?...Captains? Have significant experience in long trips like that and know how to prepare.   Somebody like me taking young kids out? yea that's irresponsible, somebody that's just a casual boater on the weekends? Irresponsible.   

These people from everything I can gather are capable, experienced, and know what they are doing.  Their emergency equipment failed, not because of an actual equipment failure, but because the sat phone company decided to cut service with no notice.  That's what backup stuff like that beacon is for.  From everything I can read they acted appropriately, and the media is only calling them monsters because they had kids on board when the emergency happened, instead of asking what the hell a satellite phone service that is almost exclusively used for emergencies is doing cutting service with no warning.

The woman I used to see come through the burger king drive through every single day with her kids for breakfast, and again for dinner back when I worked there is more a risk to her children than these people are.

Alright, I'm getting real tired of this.

Come into work, already expecting something to have gone missing, or broken, or something.
Look at the kitchen area. Nothing unusual. One of the coolers is being defrosted, but that's kinda expected.
Look at the back room, nothing out of place.
Break room, the poster that went missing is actually back now.
Check the freezer, everything's where it should be.

Now I start getting suspicious, nothing for once, is wrong.
Something has to be wrong.

I go to the bathroom (making sure to check for vampires as always) and start wondering why everything seems to be in place.
Start washing my hands, and start making a mental checklist of what I haven't looked for yet.
Suddenly, the sink unleashes an explosion of water, coating my chest, arms, and face instantly.
Hydrophobia sets in, and I start smashing the towel despencer, and the damn thing isn't working. Something messed up the motion sensor, and I have to reach my hand into it and manually rip out the paper towels, somehow fixing the motion sensor in the process.

I hate this place so much.
