I think if you were to go back to any of my driving-ineptitude-related posts, they will feature Asians. It's not that I have anything against them, but they don't seem to have a very good track record where roads are concerned.

china is freaking legendary when it comes to road rules

to be frank in the russian sfsr the same was the case but the amount of cars on the road was not as... huge as it is there so it wasn't as visible i guess

is this inherent to systems claiming to be socialist? we'd need a study but i doubt anyone's going to take it

My most... interesting experience with the approach to road rules so far was Ukraine - specifically Lviv. If you are on foot, the drivers treat you as though you killed their parents and fucked their sisters, simultaneously. And vice versa. Living there is a crash course in stopping giving a fuck about jaywalking.

Indians don't drive. They just fiddle with the controls and hope that the aeroplane their car somehow got tangled with will crash at their desired destination.
