I'm certain I've seen mentioned around the place that the songs from Doom are a variety of covers and influenced by other bands, "Alice in Chains" was one of the bands I think but someone more knowledgeable of metal would have to confirm this.

WTF is going on with the Harvest Moon series.

They changed American localization companies, probably because the old one was horrible at their job.

Except the old company (Natsume) holds the rights to the name "Harvest Moon". So the newest actual HM game is being localized as "Story of Seasons" instead.

Natsume responds to the whole thing by hijacking the brand name by creating their own game independantly of the main series developers and giving it the Harvest Moon name (Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley).

So now there's going to be two competing HM games coming out this year: One actual HM with a different name, and one with the actual name from a completely different developer.
