All you have to do is make an account with SOE, put in some information, download the game, entertain yourself while it downloads, open the game, wait for it to update, make a character, pick the team that looks coolest, look at the server list, minimize the game, look up what benefits server population has, re-open the game, pick a server, enter the server, wait for it to load, pick a class, wait for the graphics to load, watch as it crashes, buy a new graphics card, try to install it using a guide you found on google, call a repairman to fix your computer, open the game again, wait for the new update to install, go back into the server, test your weapons out, instant-action into a battle, die immediatly, re-spawn, attempt to fly a mosquito/reaver/scythe, crash, take a flash instead, join a squad, partake in tactical manauvers, pretend you know what you're doing, google what flank means, join another squad, realize there are multiple continents, attempt to decide which continent to battle on, get thrown back to Indar by the instant-action anyway, attempt to join an outfit, visit the outfit's website, create an account on the website, file a submission, wait for a response, buy a headset with a microphone, download teamspeak, re-enter the game, wait for it to update, meet-up with your outfit, choose a vehicle to drive, try a liberator, decide to stick with ground vehicles, enter a battle, learn about generators, de-stabilize a generator, shoot people, wonder why the base isn't capturing, find the SCU, destroy the SCU, realize that sunderers can re-spawn people, capture your first base, get promoted, try to decide what to spend your credits on, forgot to buy the cheap scopes for your guns, try to defend the base, use your first MAX, and thats it.
...Okay maybe its a bit confusing...
