Apparently, according to "Younger Brother Physics", heavier cars should be faster/accelerate faster than lighter ones because there is more "downward force" on the wheels, and thus more traction.

Do you even F=ma, bro?

Yeah I don't even.

There are other reasons for why you might want a heavier car, but in practice it sounds like they try to make them as light as possible. I assume race car drivers and engineers know more about it than I do.

Sure. But in 1st and 2nd edition of D&D you can only get raised so many times before you're left dead permanently, and you also have to roll a resurrection survival. Although in 1st edition you get like 1000 XP for being raised from the dead.

In 2E they have the resurrection spell, which doesn't count against your limit of raise dead, but it ages the caster 3 years. I dunno how many 14th level Clerics are gonna be willing to keep doing that. My guess: zero. Wishes have the same aging problem.

Although you might be able to get away with using a Ring of Regeneration to come back to life, although I think you'd still have to roll for system shock. But the system shock rules are crazy, you'd have to roll to die every time you polymorph, get magically aged, petrified or depetrified, etc. Nobody uses that part of the rule.

In 3E you need to blow a 5000 GP diamond or something. Not very cost-effective.

Overall you'd have to be really dedicated to make it work, just for gaining another couple levels before your resources ran out.

Omegle spambots.
Oh why would someone even try? They're so awful.

Murdering mass murders to stop murderers from murdering people.

Reminds me of Mass Effect 3.

The problem with suicide as a level mill is that you're a foe of your own CR, so you'll only provide slightly less than 1/3 of the XP necessary to gain the level you usually lose*. You can pull it off with a True Resurrection in 3.5, of course, but that takes 10,000 GP a pop, so you'll need to clear your way through a fair chunk of the Epic Level Handbook before you're casually pulling that kind of dosh in on your morning strolls (or just spam Wall of Iron and initiate an Industrial Revolution).

*A party of 4 is supposed to fight 13 encounters of their CR to gain a level. XP is evenly divided, however, so if you're the only one who kills you, you get all of it.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Mass murdering mass murderers to stop mass murderers from mass murderising people.

Yes. I've heard it's meant to symbolise the boulder being rolled away from Jesus' cave or something like that, I don't know if it has an older pagan significance like most things along those lines.
It's also fun to roll stuff down hills.
It's even funner to roll yourself down hills.
It's even funner to race someone else to a roll down the hill.

If you were a ghost you automatically resurrect after 1d4 days. I think. That might only be NPC ghosts, though. But if it applied you could keep killing your ghost self until you became god of everything.

And yet that must work sometimes, because otherwise no one would bother.

There are probably a whole lot of people to who click through. And if the spambot is set up to just run automatically ... the investment is very low.

But what if someone set up a spambot that was willing to be fooled by another spambot, possibly to exchange link-clicks?

In the future nobody will use the internet except spambots all clicking each others' links and sealing the deal with a peek at the ol' USB port.

@Owlbread: Nice, looks like a similar breed (or mashup of breeds) to my cat! :D
I think there's some Himalayan Mountain Persian or somesuch in there.

On possums: Over here, the native possums we have (which are quite different from those opossum things) aren't really pests at all. Occasionally small-minded idiots trap and kill them, but fortunately possums are protected by law. They do occasionally make a lot of noise, especially if they happen to be living in your roof, but that doesn't bother me.

All-in-all they are very adorable. Even if you'd lose a hand if you tried to cuddle them.

Yeah I agree, he's a real moggie though. A variety of breeds went into him I think. He's from a cat home but he's been with me since he was a kitten.
