Apparently, a brother of a friend of a friend on Facebook has converted to Christianity.  Good for him I suppose, but that does mean I'll be seeing more people posting bible quotes on their status updates :/  And one more person who will be offended by my sexuality...

The fact that they converted to Christianity doesn't mean that they're going to do that.
I know plenty of Christians who are fine with all sexualities, moreover one of them started the local GSA.

I was actually doing some reasearch on Islam for my book and it said Islam has essentially the same deal going with homosexuality, only since there are more islamic theocracies than christain theocracies it get's portrayed different (I.E more negative for gays and the like).

Sucks because the character I was looking up islam on is in lesbians. I should look up Shinto too this religion shit is kind of interesting and I love Japan.

FWIW, Taoism gives not even a single fuck about homosexuality. It's kind of removed from those sort of social concerns, because it argues that social conventions themselves are human constructs and thus merely an impediment to understanding and embodying the Tao.

Though perhaps oddly, it does frown on masturbation to release. Not in a "OMG dont touch yourself thats evil" way, more of "you'll go blind/lose your jing". It's purely a health thing.
