Honey goes just fine on bacon. As does syrup. Deliciously fine. I can only cast depreciations upon your bacon cooker.

... maybe your honey gatherer. Or just the kind of honey, I guess. Some do go better with bacon than others. I prefer clover to  tupelo, ferex, as bacon basting material.

E: Or perhaps the kind of bacon. Point being that honeyed bacon is grade A culinary glory and something either went wrong with the bacon or the honey.

Heh.I remember on QI when they had an image of a man doing a caber toss, and the Scottish comedian (can't remember his name) said 'By the way, send my compliments to the person that photoshopped in a blue sky.'

I've seen that one. QI is good. Also has some of the most awesome title music EVAR.
