The odd bit is she's an outdoor cat that clearly knows how to hunt, I've seen her with dead birds before.  I would think chicken without all the feathers would taste similar to sparrow. (or whatever that bird was she caught a few months ago.)

I thought they were emptying out bottles of mustard into shoes and microwaving them.  But no, it's not nearly that sane.  You have topped my WTF good sir.
I've just found something even more asinine.
That's nothing new. Gawker doesn't know what they're talking about, the casuals. Disregard that, my computer can't even play the video so I don't even know what I'm talking about. Still, fuck Gawker with phosphorous-laced buckshot out of the end of a sawed-off shotgun.
I'm going to start carrying a cane and beating people who do shit like this.

I'm going to walk around with a fire extinguisher for much the same reason. They'll never know what hit them.

Of course they will. It's pretty obvious when you're hit with a fire extinguisher.

Oh, and yes, it's bloody stupid. It would also be somewhat more appropriate to bash them over the head with a gallon of milk.

I'd say carry around a mop, and if you see someone do this, say "now clean it up."

A gallon jug of milk, with a healthy mix of sand and buckshot.

Why the animosity towards the (rather admittedly lame) pranksters? I'd say these kids are punishing themselves.

Because they don't care about the punishment. The punishment is ineffective. And clearly reasoning with them is fruitless.

I'm not sure how much obliquely harmless attention grabbing stunts need to be punished, it's not as if these are acts done with a purposeful malicious intent.

There's no real incentive for the fad to remain living, it'll just die the moment people get bored of it. I don't see anything other than maybe a stern talking to, and making them pay for the milk if it was obviously intentional they dropped it.

I think it's the combination of the complete lack of humor (sub-par pratfalls and food wastage aren't particularly amusing) and the apparent mindset behind it (that it's perfectly okay to waste food-particularly in such a blatant, intentional manner-, stain other peoples' clothes, and create extra work for folks who are already working a bad job).

I don't know about anyone else, but all the pranks I remember pulling and being the victim were either verbal/mental ones (admittedly of varying quality) or things akin to "Hey, open up that cellar door, there totally aren't a bunch of angry wasps in there." Maybe I'm just prematurely boring, but things like this aren't funny or creative, just idiotic. If that was it, I wouldn't care, but when there's also this sort of disregard for third parties it pushes a button. If you're not only doing things that aren't funny but which also adversely affect others, it's something of an issue, at least in my book.

Remember a few pages ago where someone said some kids equate humor and obnoxiousness? Sometimes it doesn't get socialized out of them.

Pentagon to deploy huge blimps over Washington, DC for 360-degree surveillance - RT

That sort of system has been used for a long, long around naval bases. Considering the ease of manufacturing a crude cruise missile or SRBM (which a modern smartphone would make quite accurate with GPS), the easy access to chemical and biological weapons to use as a payload, and the extremely obvious target that is the Capitol, White House, and Pentagon, I'm astounded that such a system, backed with AEGIS ships or surface SAM batteries, was not already in place.

I've been playing some Supreme Commander 2 lately, and I just can't fathom which idiot thought the Aeon Illuminate names were good, cool, or funny. It's all the horrible cringe inducing pun lameness without the underlaying humor or wit.

Seriously, it's like a nine year old discovered puns and started using them all the freaking time. And they're so god damn bad man. Anti-Air robot is Airnomo. Giant unit magnet is Pullinsmash. Fighter/Bomber is Wedoboth.

WHAT THE FUCK MAN!?!?!?

I've been signing petitions to get things like SOPA, PIPA and CISPA taken out of the equation for the past three years and now I'm starting to wonder if I did and/or am doing the right thing. Maybe there isn't hope or a possibility that parents will do the right thing and get involved with their children's internet usage and other multimedia habits. Maybe the government does have to step in. Why the fuck am I having a crisis of paradigm at a time like this?
