Generally, I am against the death penalty, but whoever layed out that disc should be dragged into the street and shot.

I feel this way about whoever decided it was a good idea to pile so much crap before the menu screen on a disc that it takes at least 3-4 minutes to get there.  The corporate logo animation things would be ok if they were fucking skippable and didn't take as much as 20 seconds sometimes just for the ultimate purpose of displaying the name of a company.  Trailers are just stupid.  Seriously.  When I pull out an old tv show or movie, I shouldn't be forced to skip through a dozen trailers that haven't been relevant in however many years.

Nukes, neutron bombs (technically just a really capitalist-friendly nuke), nerve gas, more nukes, engineered diseases, nukes, chemical weapons, still more nukes, fuel-air bombs, and have I mentioned the fucking nukes? That aside, a true Earth-shattering kaboom would likely take orders of magnitude more energy than we can generate with our nuclear stockpiles, though I'm too tired to do the maths on that. We'd just have to settle for rendering it uninhabitable a few dozen times over. At least until some idiot finally builds a self-replicating nanite swarm with no failsafe.

So IRC was talking about Deadlands and I joked that something might take a Five of a Kind to make and so that got me wondering how the probabilities of 5-suit 5-card poker would go so I started crunching numbers in my head and putting down a couple notes and suddenly it's 1 am and I have to work tomorrow and this is one long sentence that is probably more of a run-on than a sentence.
