Today, I were thoroughly confused by my collague (on purpose, as I later learned) so that she may fool me into taking part in some kinda succession novel writing effort. Four pages until midnight, I'm the first so I have to figure out the setting, title and generally have the most power over the story while knowing nothing of writing.

I just spent a little too much time trying to repair some pants. The stitching is awful, and probably improperly done. Ended up wasting a good amount of thread tangling up a knot. Chances are, it won't last through its next wash cycle.

Why would I do this?

...Actually, the pants probably wouldn't have survived its next wash cycle if I didn't.


EDIT: My internet troubles seem to have been alleviated at least somewhat by unscrewing the antenna from the back of the card just a tiny bit.

Fantasy story. Giant walking city filled with pacifist mechanics. People start thinking the city will break down, and won't be able to walk anymore. Pair of young, innocent souls set off on a magnificent journey to a) save their people from destruction, b) find a way to fix the city, c) find a better home for their people. Go nuts.
