Oh my goodness, the YT translation captions made it even better.

On another note, I finally got around to starting a campaign in a game that some of you might be familiar with...

It's completely unbalanced, of course; on Route 1 alone you've got (among others) Chibi Alice (Psychic) and Chibi Suwako (Water/Ground). Oh, and Marisa learns Thunderbolt at level 7, but I suppose that's in keeping with canon. 

There's no gender choice; either you're a tomboy or girly girl.

All my wut, but at least it's not going to be utterly predictable like pokemon has been the last few times I played.

AFAIK it's just a (many-branched) series of romhacks/fangames. Including one that stops being pokemon five seconds in and starts being a traditional RPG. I mean, I'll take it down if it bothers you, but there's nothing sexual in the game and it's prime WTF material.

The packaging for these tortillas is a bit odd. Most of it is in Spanish, but there are some parts in English. Specifically, the stuff on the front espousing its benefits ("New and Improved" "Super Soft" "0 Trans Fat"), net weight and Nutritional Information (which both have the same information in Spanish after them), and the heating instructions.

There are also, notably, two recipes in Spanish, with no English equivalent, the  aforementioned heating instructions have no Spanish equivalent. It's sort of like they figured white people wouldn't be able to figure out how to heat a tortilla without directions, and letting them try to make actual recipes with this stuff would lead to fatalities.

I was sort of wondering about that. Almost everything in here would make me at least slightly uncomfortable if I allowed myself to care. Which is a decent enough metaphor for life, I suppose. WTF thread: It's like life except the problems are about slightly creepy games instead of lots of people dying.

Interesting concept, but it would probably never get approved for airing in the USA. Half the people would claim it's sacrilegious and the other half would claim it's shoving religion down their throats.

And it's entirely possible there'd be overlap between the two

And yeah, the touhoumon stuff is tame, at least the romhacks of it I've seen (most of the english ones, so far). Mind you, there is absolutely bonkers amounts of illicit touhou material, but that particular adaptation isn't among it.

Part of my fingernail of right middle finger appears to be infected. Area directly between nail and skin, and extending a little around it. Darker color, shiny, warm, hurts and is a little swollen. I got a real shock when I pressed on it during school, and a small globule of goo of some sort squirted out from the crack between my nail and my skin.

That's oddly specific. I feel like a dwarf.

Extremely common with Mexican ingredients. In most cases, they're primarily targeted toward the Spanish-speaking ethnic group in the area, but are required to have some elements in English. Generally, folks that don't speak Spanish and want a tortilla only bother with Ortega or Aztec, the main chain brands.

That is otherwise known as an ingrown nail. The swelling will lead to more growing-in, which will lead to more swelling. If you have bad luck, you'll need your nail root shortened via surgery, and if you wait too long, the painkillers won't work anymore because of infection. Talking from horrible, horrible personal experiences here.
