I mean, I don't approve of it as DRM, but I don't think it's too ridiculous to design things assuming everyone has internet access at least periodically.
So someone who has limited bandwidth or a spotty connection shouldn't be allowed to play a game they bought and paid for in offline single player... just because? o.0

EA would say so, yea.
Oh wait, Sim City is an MMO now. And Castle Crashers is historical.

I've gone through all my life not knowing about the existence of figs. I've never eaten, felt or seen a fig before. Not even heard a description of one.
And now I realize I could just as easy search and find a fig in seconds.

Yet... I don't think it'd be the same.

I've got to find a fig and find it the right way.

Maybe plant a fig tree... Figs grow on trees right?

Yes, they grow on trees, and are delicious.
Surly you have walked past them while shopping and not noticed?

I live around figs all the time, but I've never tried them, really. They do sure as shit grow on trees, though; we had a few at my high school. The leaves are very distinctive.

Nope! Just legumes and fruits, obviously excluding figs. And believe me, I have looked for figs in the markets before. It is not the right way apparently.
IT IS A SIGN FROM THE GODS OF FIG.

Kumquats are where it's at.

Who needs figs when you have dates?

They probably can't deal with particularly low temperatures; they are, after all, a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern fruit, and not very easy to transport. I don't see fresh figs in supermarkets here, where one can (and my father has) grow a tree in your backyard; they only ever come dried.

Fakeedit: Also, loquats. Fuckin' ambrosia.

I could never deal with the smell of pawpaw, nor papaya.

Mango, like watermelon and strawberries, can be great or it can be terrible, depending on ripeness and fruit quality. Mango has a better probability of being fantastic than the other two, though.
