I'm not sure if that site is worse than others when it comes to bad encounters, though I do find the Christianmingle ads incredibly obnoxious as well as frequent. Certainly casts their slogan of "Find God's match, for you!" in a horrible way they didn't intend, especially given some comments in the last election cycle...
