I'm not off caffeine, but I decided to stop drinking soda. Unfortunately it is the cheapest thing on campus besides water.
Drink water then. Water is, understandably, the most efficient drink at getting water into your body.
The problems is that I don't really like water. I've never liked water, unless I am very, very thirsty.
I never understood how people can say they don't like water.
I mean... it's water. It's the liquid for drinking.

I don't like water. It's a nonentity. If I wanted to drink flavorlessness, I'll drink water. Generally I prefer to drink something that tastes like literally anything but nothing.
I'm pretty sure that MSH was using "don't like" to mean "dislike".

EDIT:
Try lemonade? It's mostly water...
All (safe for human consumption) drinks are mostly water.

Tea is usually what I drink if I'm not drinking soda. (Note: Is American. So that means cold sweet tea. Not that wierdy, milk-filled hot tea, even though it is delicious.)

I don't understand your point.

Just... just gotta' find the right water, man. Not all water is distributed equally. Keep trying until you find the right kind.

Depends on the water! I like a lot of different sorts of water, but 2/3rds of the places I've lived for any period of time has had tap water that made me sick at the worst, and just didn't taste very good at the best. When you find the good stuff, though... it's good.

The best water... it's not just flavorless, man. It's got a flavor that's, like... conceptual. It tastes like purity or cold or some shit like that. It is imbibing a feeling as much as it is a liquid. Other drinks are their own thing, but really good water is just... sublime. The best water is genuinely the best of drinks. S'just something to it I can't really quantify in words.

That's fairly common. Cold tea though... Unless you mean Ice Tea, which is awesome.

Most water does actually taste of something due to the minerals dissolved in it. So it does have a taste unless your tap is just hooked up to a water generator using hydrogen and oxygen.

I don't understand how drinking flavorlessness can be so unpleasant, but creature comforts have never been important to me.

I find Mio works pretty well, though, when I want something flavored.  Otherwise I drink almost nothing but coffee (now decaf) and water.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of plain water either. I can consume my body weight in sweet iced tea though. I try to eschew soda, as too much of it really aggravates the acid reflux. (Meanwhile, drinking a Fanta Orange soda as I type this...)

Because Water isn't flavorless. People just consider it flavorless because of how they define things.

In fact water tastes bad... officially.

In England. Well, UK. They serve the tea hot with milk. It blew my mind. Then I drank it and was like, "Well played, UK, well played."

Water's ok, though I usually prefer to put a few lemons in it. Of non-alcoholic, non-carbonated drinks, unsweetened iced tea, particularly Earl Grey, is probably my preference.
