So... fractal water.

The blue stuff is water, unsurprisingly. The weird part is that it flows uphill in a perfect Sierpinski triangle.

Siiigh.
You should really collect all the different ways this project has gone haywire and splice them into a montage. It's like a Bad Magician sight gag.

Don't worry, you'll get it eventually. :)

heres your problem, you used some horrid scans to clean out hijacked stuff that since they are highly known, its easy for the malware to dodge the scan.
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
if first link failed to installhttp://www.malwarebytes.org/products/chameleon/
http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/eek/
do FULL SCAN
possible you might have a rootkit in the system. http://support.kaspersky.com/5350 try running this after the AV scans (note if this is blocked we even got a longer list of shit on this computer that you might as well wipe out)

these known scanners that are able to install on highly infected systems, just requires a Safe mode with Networking.
So, MSE failed to find anything. An overnight SuperAntiSpyware scan found some tracking cookies, but nothing else. Now I'm running a full Malwarebytes scan, but I'm wondering if perhaps the service provider was just being really wonky yesterday as everything is working just fine.

Well, I suppose there's no harm in being sure. I'm gonna be out of the house for a few hours anyway :P

@miauw62: The only browser addon I use is AdBlock Plus. If that thing has suddenly turned evil, I doubt I'd be the only one with these issues.

Yeah, but check your addons anyway. To see if there's anything abnormal in there.

Yea sorry I vanished for a little bit somebody got there already.  Scanning with SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes would be best.  I've also had good experiences with the ESET online scanner, it works well and isn't very well known. Though last I checked it picks up DFHack's fake SDL.dll as a false positive.

I suppose it's possible it was just ISP funkyness.  But a good detailed scan now and then doesn't hurt, and that behavior you described would certainly be enough for me to have run scans.

Note for in case it isn't apparent: Having a well known scanner isn't necessarily a good thing, if your anti-malware program is well known, folks who write malware are more likely to write their virus to hide from or disable it.  While bigger companies have the resources to counter that, it ends up being a big game of cat and mouse.

I missed the part in Pokemon where kids raised sticks and summoned spirits into the cards.

Although I don't think she much realized the difference between Yu-gi-oh and Pokemon and whatever other weird Japanese Card Game her kids were playing.

If God loses footing in your heart because you played cards as a kid you were never really part of his flock, no?

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Spokesman for the "Heart Attack Grill" dies of heart attack.

No, that's not an Onion article.
