I just watched a really old, poorly done Alien Conspiracy Theory history show.

So, let me get this straight: Because all buildings across the world use big blocks with four sides, because cave paintings and carvings around the world look vaguely inhuman and have round heads with no eyes, and because folks did some pretty impressive stuff without modern technology... Aliens.

This, coupled with the worst soundtrack and cinematography I've ever seen had me and my dad shaking our heads the entire time.

I think the specific example used was "look how the Easter Islands has this single example of a brick used to fill in a hole in a wall, just like this brick used to fill a hole in the wall over in the Middle East! It's impossible for primitive humans to work such perfection! It must have been technology provided by the aliens!"

The thing is so little will survive, and in such damaged form probably even we wouldn't have a clue what it was, let alone the future people. It could look like we used it to rebel against the aliens who gave us their "Stick brick in wall" technology.
 
The Moral in the interest story of a future newspaper or whatever the social media eqivalent will be is that man is arrogant, and we should have stuck with those kind aliens, and maybe you shoud try setting up your space-car on your own for once. It'll start a whole "back to the earth" hipster movement where people will build "land-cars", watch "tele-vision", and use "hand-held cellphones" like in the good old days of ancient history. The government of the People's Republic of the Astro-Martian Expanse will grudgingly allow it, forcing their rivals, the Earth-Venusian Alliance, to counter by quickly banning it.
