As a board, we know far too much about forensics and murder methods.  :P...?
What about a Police message board/ CSI fan board?

Apparently there's an episode of Castle on an investigation with the members of a Sherlock Holmes book club as suspects.

Nah, you can't really know too much about anything really.

Well, after a while on this board you do start weighing up the odds of being on an FBI watchlist. After all, I'm in good company.  :P.

The synopsis of the Japanese horror film Meatball Machine.

"Yōji is a young lonely factory worker who falls for an equally lonely girl co-worker, Sachiko, but is unable to tell her of his interest. After he is assaulted in a theater by a crossdresser, Yōji finds what looks like an alien insect and hides it in his room. The next night, he comes across Sachiko being sexually attacked by another fellow worker. He attempts to come to her aid but is beaten. Sachiko feels sorry for him and returns with him to his apartment. During this encounter, Sachiko is attacked by the alien object which penetrates her and turns her into a bio-mechanical monster, a NecroBorg. These parasites take over human bodies and use their flesh to create weapons which they use to fight each other. Yōji is also infected and the plot eventually leads to a showdown fight to the death between the two would-be lovers. A side plot concerns a father who is out to kill the NecroBorgs who have also infected his daughter."

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

"Two of the reviewers mention that the film's plot of doomed lovers who cannot connect can be taken as a metaphor for the difficulties and dangers inherent in expressing feelings and how emotional issues can be transformed into something monstrous."

This made me laugh.

That did it for me. And geez, those last statements are heartwarming and depressing at the same time.

The state of Texas maintains a database of death row inmates and thier executions, including thier last words. There is something very odd about reading the statement of someone who konws they are about to die.
It took me a few to realize that what they were tasting was the poison, but it immediately occurred to me that “I love you too, Mom,” seems like the sort of thing that you would only say in reply, which could only happen if your mother was attending your execution. How sad a scene that must have been.

I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised to find an execution so dolorous.

You have at least a 1/10 chance that any one of those guys who's last statement you're reading was innocent.

Think about this: Florida exonerates about twice as many death-row inmates as Texas. Yet Florida has a lot less people on Death Row in the first place. Is Texas just so amazingly accurate with their legal system that they always "get it right" whereas Florida is making a lot more "mistakes" by putting people on Death Row in the first place?

It makes me think that Texas is no more accurate with it's initial charges than Florida, but you're much less likely to have your Death Row case overturned if you're innocent in Texas than in Florida.
