After reading some of harry potter shipping confessions and seeing pictures of this "Rolf" guy Luna apparently married in canon, I was having trouble for a while remembering whether I had actually seen Deathly Hallows part 2 or if I had just imagined it cinematically when I read the book. (After awhile I realized I had seen it, though I'm not sure if I paid much attention to the epilogue at the time, since it was rather sappy.)

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

How does one even agree defiantly? That seems contradictory somehow...

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

This conversation reminded me to reread My Immortal for the first time in basically forever.

I had forgotten just how painfully awful it really was. It's like meeting up with an old friend you haven't seen in a while.

Trust me, read it after running it through Gizoogle and it will be a thousand times better.

You indirectly got me to watch the video :o (try liveleak, it has been deleted from youtube). Could be worse, but she has psychological problems for doing it and even worse ones for uploading it. That is a true samaritan, so horribly messed up that you cannot help but feel better about yourself.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
