Does anyone know how to make Chrome stop randomly making my tabs into new windows?

Don't pull and release the tabs out from below the windows bar?

I'm using Chrome right now, and it has a whole lot of stupid shit. Still, it is better in some regards than IE and I have an age-old hate for Firefox. Guess I'm stuck.

There's still Opera, man. S'what I've been using.

Mind, I don't use all those fancy plugin things (I just turn off javascript and plugins until I actually need them for something, which deals with most issues), but Opera seems to work decently for what I use it for (dozens of tabs open). After a little fiddling, maybe. Has a bit of unnecessary flashy gubbins I like to disable, I think.

It's surprisingly fast for how big a footprint it has, too. Thing uses up a lot of memory. The problem with Opera is that it has iffy compatibility. Doesn't work with Netflix streaming and some other websites, doesn't work with ibus in the latest version. Compatibility gets better all the time, Google search by image works now!, but it's still generally worse than Chrome or FF.

Doesn't stop me from using it though...

I prefer Firefox because it is familiar and I have an easier time tweaking the settings on that than with Chrome. Plus the choice of skins and addons are in my opinion nicer than what Chrome has to offer.

I use Torch,
It's literally made from Chrome.
It just allows torrenting, and some other stuff.

That's right. Chrome and Firefox suck. I don't want 'plug-ins' and such to make my browser a browser. I want it to work. IE 9 works.

It also just works for everyone who wants to hijack your shit, steal your identity and infect your machine. It also does not just work for anyone who is writing a website.

You can get adblock for chrome, too.

It always says its a beta, though.
