I forget where I was going with this analogy, but I presume since there's no biological connection let alone a common species, it'd be just what it is - a parasite.

My mom's side of the family had a discussion about colonoscopies at Christmas Eve dinner a couple years back.

Oh goody. Please do not mention colonoscopies areound me. I have a family history of colon cancer, so I am going to need a few of those later in life to check up on some stuff. My momm had one recently-ish. Was not fun. They had to clean out her intestinel tract, so they gave her some sort of super laxative.

Since there is no "EWW" thread, I'll post here. I found the source of the flies in the bathroom. Everytime I went into the bathroom I killed maybe 8 (Not a exaggeration). The source was soaking wetsock behind the toliet. Discolored yellow and covered with maggots. My sister must have dropped into the toliet then fished it out.

Least theres no more flies.

Massive explosion on the south side of Indianapolis just a little while ago.  It completely flattened two houses and set the entire block on fire.  It was heard and felt for an entire county away.  A pretty large area is being evacuated.  There's no official word on the cause yet, but the prevailing assumption is a gas line exploded.

Yeah.  Meth lab has been proposed plenty of times.  Meth is pretty big in Indiana.  I don't think they tend to cause explosions this large, though, or we'd be used to it and this one wouldn't be such big news.
