So the archives of my school's library caught fire. I am left thinking one or both of two things:

I'm actually in some work of fiction, or library archives which are the go-to source about some specific topic (in this case, the local area and its long copper mining history) catching fire is something that actually happens.

Hell, his premier trick was to "walk on water" - specifically, the Thames. Guy was just walking on a black board with the cameras angled. The "crowd" that gather around shocked are actors. The "police boat" is also in on the trick.
You already know it's fake because real Londoners would take one look at a guy walking water and be all 'meh' about it. Numpty should try using  the london underground and get to work on time. THAT'S A MAGIC TRICK.
