At my school, one year the homecoming king and queen participants all crossdressed. The girls were dressed as manly as physically possible, and the guys were in dresses so frilly Victorian-era women would have been a little dumbfounded.

My school, despite beind quite christian and conservative for a public school, actually was pretty lax about what kids could get away with.

Our entire robotics team wears skirts at competitions (BTW, it's about 60-80% guys on the team)
