Nah. That part was caused by actual damage to my brainz. I was wrestling with an uncle of mine when I was like, 4 or 5, and he pushed me. I fell on a bedframe that had exposed nails (they were covered by a blanket) and they punched through the back of my head. I wound up with a little bit of scarring on my occipital lobe, and it makes it hard to tell people (and similar things, like pens v pencils) apart.
I imagine your uncle panicked gloriously.
Yes. He was 7 years old at the time.

On the subject of Hurr, I have a classmate that in history class when the Teacher mentioned the word Liberty, asked,"Liberty? You mean Like the statue?"

He was teaching about the Rights/LIBERTIES that british colonists had. Before there WAS 13 colonies in the Area that is now America. Also, this was in 8th grade.

Depending on age that might not be too big a brain fart. Maybe in high school :P

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

*no broken bones!

although, a permanently bent little nail due to me shoving it in a door hinge when I was 3.

oh, and falling off a wet climbing frame and getting a cut (big, relative to my size back then) that bled profusely.

and when I was little, apparently, I had my own seat in the casualty ward, due to falling off all sorts of things. never had a serious injury, though.

I do, but it's a funny thought, nonetheless.

Heh. The closest I've come to a stupidity-induced injury was sneezing so hard I pulled a bunch of muscles in my torso. Could barely move for a couple days. And it happened this year. I really need to get in better shape.

When I was a kid, I had perpetual bruises on my head due to a combination of extreme clumsiness from fast growth (I remember walking easily under a duct once, and slamming my head into it when I went back a few hours later, for example) and a steady stream of things falling on me (pan lids, bricks from God, stuff like that.) It's a wonder I don't have some degree of brain damage damage.
