What a grizzly crime

My union has in writing but "informally" said management has reached its desired staffing levels so it isn't going to downsize anymore. It is waiting for the formal part though.

My supervisor is non union and it probably won't save him. Who knows who my boss will be if I stay.
I have another job lined up without union protection. Like they are ready to hire me. Same pay.
I don't know how binding the management not wanting to downsize more is. Will they stick with it?
New management is coming in soonish anyhow so will they care about old management saying this?

I don't care and just want a stable job. WTF? We've all been scared to death over this. More weirdness.
I'm good at what I do where I am but overworked and unappreciated.
The new place is a gamble because all new places are.

One of my friends saw their big boss freaking out and tearing up union posters and threatening to make heads roll. Big bosses really do not like collective negotiating. Where I work the big bosses will spend any amount of money to not pay workers money

Watching Inside Out 1 and 2.  The disney movie about the constitute emotions of a preteen girl that try to categorize and filter her life.

In the first movie ... I found Joy to be an insufferable prick, and Sadness to just be a plot device.  The plot of the movie is literal character development of the girl, however I dont actually think the actual main characters, Joy and Sadness, displayed any development, let alone enough of a personality to develop into something else.  The stakes were ultimately low, the actions of the characters werent thought out and the obstacles largely self-inflicted.

The second one, which came out this year .... is shaping up poorly.  Piss off with these throwaway characters.



Do I just not get what it's like to be a child in 2024?
