But would hydraulic pressure generated by a large animal be able to injure a predator's jaws? It would still kill the animal being attacked, no very helpful except for eusocial insects. If the sacks have already been punctured while not under pressure, theyd be useless too, unless they were filled with a toxin. Like little toxin nodules under the skin that squirt out when punctured.
