Some drunk asshole tried running us off the road about half an hour ago. Did some significant damage to our vehicle's rear end too. Nobody's hurt, and insurance should cover the damage. The guy wasn't even arrested, despite being visibly drunk.

As long as there is a police report stating that he was drunk, and he has insurance, you should be alright for the fiscal part.

I can't imagine anyone even suspected of being drunk who admitted to driving a vehicle not getting a DWI, but that is just my experience in New York, USA.

Yeah, well it's Suffolk County PD over here. They're pretty useless, based on various first- and second-hand experiences. I was actually on hold for several minutes when I called 911. Response time was pretty fast, though, about 6 minutes.

Yeah, reviewers, youtube folks of relevant subject matter, etc. Someone who's involved with games on a professional level in a way that leads to a very large library.

Maybe, anyway. They'd have to be pretty damn prolific, even addressing a game a day without breaks it'd take like fifty years or something to break into plural tens of thousands.

Though on the flip side, even if it's only like two people they've probably sunk enough money into value to warrant making their experience a little smooth, so...

It's more games than anyone could play but I guess if someone has effectively unlimited money they might be tempted to just buy everything on the store for the hell of it.

You don't need to have all games in your library to be actually installed. Still, I don't think there is any point in buying 20 000+ games unless you intend to archive them. At which point, you will need to actually download them.

You could, however, just download them onto a hard-drive, then remove the drive and put in an empty one.

Worth noting that Steam also hosts any number of free games and demos, all of which are added to your library until removed. You could play 10 minutes of, say, Warframe and then uninstall, and it would count.

Twitter is well and truly melting my brain.
The dopamine of the easy wins and almost-but-not-quite instant replies, it's too much.

Oddly it's something I didn't, or usually didn't, experience on IRC and Discord.  That was TOO immediate, like actually being in a room with people.  Though there was that brief period I was on a flat-earth Discord... That was fun, and utterly unproductive.  It's different when it's a community.  And I don't mean an echo-chamber: I enjoy and have enjoyed some very... diverse, Discord channels/servers.

Ah, X-Piratez Discord.  What a tire fire.

Worst of all, Twitter's got me single-spacing after my periods when I'm not careful.

All that is to say: I think the BBCode system may be better, even/particularly when it's slow.
