I'm... I just can't understand how all these people getting into an MMO economics game can be so oblivious as to how economics games work.  "I tried to make a production order but I don't have the resources to complete the job. How do I get them?"

Like... how can you not know that you need inputs to make outputs? And know that you either need to buy those inputs or make them yourself?  It's in the tutorial even... and even if you accidentally skip the tutorial, there are many online guides...

I'm having a difficult time having grace for these people 

What game is this? I'm always interested in new economic MMOs.

But yeah, people are...shockingly stubborn about not realizing seemingly simple things like this. It was probably in a text box 99% of everyone clicked past.

Accounting work can be pretty zen, though... if there's not some kinda' catastrophic fuckup going on it's kinda' like playing tetris, just with numbers. Soothing, almost.

Accounting work can be pretty zen, though... if there's not some kinda' catastrophic fuckup going on it's kinda' like playing tetris, just with numbers. Soothing, almost.

I'm actually just a clerical worker (though the accountants give me basically everything they don't want to do) and I primarily work on taxes and audit work. There's always something going wrong.

Data entry is kinda chill though. Clients drive me nuts because they can't keep anything consistent and readable but it's pretty chill otherwise.

...also "X" is kinda insulting for a third gender option, but at least it's a start. Removing gender from birth certificates would probably be the better option, or making it optional.

I drove to the store today.

For some reason, during rush hour on a Friday afternoon, not one, but two people decided to turn the wrong way onto a one-way street; the first into oncoming traffic that consequently had to stop to allow them to correct their idiocy, the second in front of the courthouse.

I thought it was usually Sunday morning the idiots came out.

Nope, Hermione had a parent (or two?) who were muggles. She was a witch, but not a pure blooded witch.
Know your fiction before you start arguing about it. I didn't even read the books, and I knew that.

Muggle=Person with no magical ability at all.
Squib=Person with a tiny bit of magical ability (which say, allows them to bypass anti-muggle wards), but typically can't cast spells or do anything cool, highly looked down upon.
Wizard/Witch=Person who can cast spells and do all the cool stuff (aka, Hermionie).

Mudblood=Slur used to insult people who have either one or two muggle parents (also Hermionie).

So Hermionie is both a witch and a mudblood, but not a muggle or a squib.

Yeah, likely fake and made to make fun of trans people but its entirely possible its just a stupid tweet they made and deleted when a ton of nerds people that know anything about Harry Potter got pissed about it.
