My kindle paperwhite has an "experimental browser".  It does not get a lot of love from amazon.

Refresh time is between .5 an 1 second.

It does have functional javascript.
I has aging https support.
It can do local (on device) http, but it is not obvious how to make it do that. (I have abused this to put a javascript version on minesweeper, mahjong, and solitaire on.' They are painful slow. I intend to make a few useful app this way, like a calculator in the future.)

The experience is hit and miss.

... more realistically, I think the easiest way to move those things if you can't handle just picking it up is finding a big enough bag to stick it in, or wrap it up in a blanket and tie it off. If you can't transit personally due to not having a big enough vehicle, uh. Get it shipped, I guess? Roll off on it like something stuck in a katamari ball? You can probably figure something out with sufficient application of duct tape!

It's gonna take a few days to expand to full size, but at present speculation, I could probably weasel it into the backseat of my car. I might be panicking overmuch over nothing.

I'm as uncertain about accepting gifts gracefully as I am relinquishing responsibility/control in any given situation, so I'm kind of anxious about the thing. It'll be fine, or it'll be fine for half a year and then I'll have to broker a deal with a neighbor or something.

Someone almost burned down the break room at work. They put something wrapped in foil in the microwave. Actually it was that packaging where the inside is foil and the outside is paper.

The person who took it out of the microwave then set it on the counter. When everyone was telling her to throw it in the sink and run the faucet, she complained about not wanting the food to get soggy. The food is literally on fire at this point, so that's not really the most important concern.

Of course, if I hadn't seen it sparking and said something, nobody probably would have noticed it until the fire was much bigger. So, when I say this place would burn to the ground without me, I don't think that's a joke anymore.

Ok, thanks for letting us know. I have some people who are gone who I wish I could see again. It's great to know I should be vigilant for their messages so I don't miss their visit.

Let's do our best to relax in the meantime, I think people usually can be more present and alert when they are not too stressed. Have you told your mom and your close friends IRL that this is going to happen?
