Back in the days, farmers mixed the eggshells (and their own finger and toe nail clippings) back into the chicken feed for their chalk needs. Oyster shells don't seem a very efficient substitute.

...Isn't this something anybody who keeps chickens would do? Eggshells go in compost, chickens get to pick through compost, cycle of life and all.

Chickens don't eat compost. They only eat the insects and worms living in the compost, and maybe a leftover seed.
Farmers put the crushed eggshells straight into the food-mix.

I suppose oyster shells have a small extra benefit of containing more trace elements than eggshells.

Pigs can be grown in much less space and consume plants root, stem, and leaf.

Be a vegan but also eat bacon - save the world. Or just eggs are fine.
What if you're jewish / muslim?

Peace and chicken, spread the word.

My sports ball team won a game against a previously unbeaten opponent (after 6 of 17 games) despite missing 3 starting “skill” players on offense (out of 11), 4 starting players on defense (also out of 11), and the coach who tells the defense how to play.

Slightly gobsmacked.

With, uh, fourteen seconds left on the clock and the guy in the right place for a lollipop of a throw from the opposing team.

It was a 'tickle the small intestine' level of ass-pull, but by gob, they did it. It was positively uproarious in the bar I was watching from.

About time the Cardinals got smacked down a peg, and it makes me feel better because the Packers are one of the only teams to beat the Bengals this year. So now that narrow loss doesn't hurt as much.

Whilst looking up details about the climate of China, I happened to wander into wikipedia pages about Tibet and the China situation.

... That was a mistake.

Dear Sheng-ji Yang;

You are a superior iteration of a codification of organization; but that does not make the codification superior.
