Buy Terry Pratchett books instead, problem solved.

Good thinking! A few of those and I might just turn myself off books forever.    

What is it about Pratchett you dislike?

Books almost consisting of cliffhangers and "i will not explain you shit, but that character got it"?

I dont like Pratchett either tbh. Early pratchett was fun, but he got pretentious fairly soon

Pretty sure I watched that movie, actually. I was just ripping on it the other day.   

There’s a movie about that? What’s it called?

Infernal Affairs is the original, a Hong Kong movie. It’s very good. It’s a trilogy, the first film is basically a planted mafia member trying for figure out who the undercover cop is in his gang, using his position as a police officer.

Hollywood remade it and called it The Departed and did some bad things to it, but is still otherwise pretty good.

What did Hollywood do to it?

Well... the biggest one is a major spoiler, and the one I was thinking of. It’s been a while since I’ve seen either film.

How interesting that it wasn't a deadly doorknob.  Well, he should be more careful with his tea preparation in his next incarnation. (assuming you believe in such things.)


Certainly Mr Putin is just shocked, nay, appalled at his rival's untimely demise from the toxic brewed beverage-- Surely there will be an investigation into how it happened, so no other Russian Citizens need worry about potentially dangerous tea drinking. (but everyone knows that True Russians would be drinking something a fair bit stiffer than "tea".)

...sigh. Well you know what would happen to Putin and his cronies if I was in power... they would either mysteriously decide to leave Russia, or accidentally fall down some stairs while in retirement and die.
