Wow. So the Steve Jobs reality distortion field is still in effect.

http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2012/08/31/steve-jobs-has-been-reincarnated-as-warrior-philosopher-thai-group-says/
1. Why are people worshiping Steve?
2. Why are people still worshiping Steve?
3. Why are they literally now worshiping Steve?

Because he brought the law writ on his tablet down from the mountain at Cupertino and said "behold, I have patented pinch to zoom and rectangles with rounded corners and interfaces that don't have enough buttons to be useful. And lo, you shouldn't even bother looking for prior art, that would anger the lord."

Why did I buy so much stuff at the fair? Fuck, my mom is so going to kill me when she gets home from work today.

Let's see... A silver ring, a replica gladius, a fedora, a picture of a snow leopard. And that's not even counting all the money I spent of fair food.

Why the hell can't I be trusted with money?

The volume knob on my computer inexplicably sometimes causes the c key to type.

That's nothing. On my old laptop (Which is thankfully gone), pressing the g or the b key would cause the cursor to shoot off into one corner of the screen and stay there for several minutes at a time.

The volume up button on mine mutes the volume.

God damn it people; we've all seen Superman 3 and this is even less inventive than that. How do people think they're gonna keep getting away with this same old ploy? :P

When working cashier jobs, I always gave people an extra cent or two if it meant I didn't have to pick out pennies. By that logic, cashiers like me are costing companies thousands!

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
