Latching onto the couch with her forelegs and kicking it with such force as to dislodge herself from it, extremely manic expression, head alternately whipping back and forth as though it was trying to escape the tyranny of shoulders or staring upwards at imaginary geckos on the ceiling.   
Went on for a while. Never have I seen a cat behave like that. She was completely exhausted after all that, seems to have returned to normal now though.

Well, that sounds mildly terrifying. I wonder how they're going to manage to screw it up. Loot boxes? What's the spread on the loot box bet?

Were there fan-made mods? I think the new thing is selling fan-made mods.

I've never cross-posted before, but this made me WTF:

I've got a 18m² apartment

That is literally smaller than my bedroom.  I don't know if I feel worse for Kagus for being restricted to such a small space, or for me and my family for having so much space.

The apartment is technically 20m², but that presumably includes the small portion of the hallway shared with my landlord, where there's a clothes closet that's at my disposal. Effectively it's 18m² of usable, private space.

But hey, no worries... My old student housing gig was 16m²! ...but then again, I was also paying monthly roughly half of what I'm paying now.


My ex's apartment was something like 24m². Split between two adults, two chihuahuas, a plague of half-empty coffee mugs, and an ever-growing hoard of unused hobby equipment.

4 years, man... 4 years in that. Good grief.

For the rest of the week, my job is sending us home at 2 instead of 4:30. Because obviously, you can only be infected after 2PM.

Also, when I asked the production manager why we were still working at 2:20, he replied with "Oh, I thought everyone understood that today was the exception." Despite the fact the I was the first person he told about leaving at 2 today as well as the rest of the week.

I shared a studio apartment with my GF for 3 years, so I feel for you. We didn't have pets however.

There's a hand gesture, possibly from fantasy media, that I don't remember the origin of and it's driving me crazy. I remember it being sort of like the Vulkan salute but a bit different. All fingers are outstretched but only the ring and middle fingers are touching one another.

so how does twitch or hubub or beam or w.e. generate actual cashflow for streamers?  I get there are coins or bits or w.e. but not being one to frequent those i dont get the relationship.  Does one buy virtual monies and them spend them as gratuities to people you like?
