I hope this isn't a real auction. The Nintendo PlayStation is actually a real thing with an important history. It belongs in a museum! The fact that they're willing to sell this priceless artifact of gaming history to any joe with money on his hands disgust me!

Apparently, some anti-vaxxers are having pox parties to deliberately give their children chicken pox, because actually getting the disease is somehow better than vaccines.

Pox-parties are a not a new idea. People have been doing them for quite a few decades now.

As for why anti-vaxers would host them, it's because their problem with vaccines isn't that they don't believe they work, it's because they don't trust big pharma. As a result they'll latch onto any rumor that discredits big pharma, such as rumors of imaginary side-effects that they think outweighs the benefits of vaccination.

Just in case you didn't know, once you get chicken pox you can't ever get it again. Though it's harmless in children, it can be deadly in adults which is why immunization at young age is important. Since chicken pox isn't sold by big pharma, it doesn't trigger their prejudices and thus it's fair game.
