How did he manage to find the one cardboard box in the world that doesn't deform when something heavy is shipped in it?
... and also happened to be airtight.

I can't help but feel this is somehow related to how he couldn't make any airholes.

Well, it was a Chinese cardboard box, so it was probably lead lined.

They also make structures out of cardboard.

So the recommended amount of physical activity is 400 minutes per week. Due to now living in the mountains and walking everywhere in addition to my normal exercise, I am now doing 910 minutes per week. Christ, I need to be careful, at this rate I might overshoot and end up underweight.

What counts as physical activity? Walking around? Bench pressing? Moving your fingers as you're typing on a keyboard?

Wouldn't the muscle buildup render you overweight again but in the other direction? IIRC muscle is heavier than fat so exercise actually doesn't hit your weight so much as your bodyfat index.

My waking around these mountainous hills works out to about an hour of Moderate Exercise per day, and my jogging works out to about an hour of Strenuous Exercise per day as well. Just the moderate exercise would be enough to make me lose weight, but the jogging on top of it is going to accelerate the process for sure.

I know this because I was only doing the jogging in my non-mountainous city, and it took me from 215 pounds to 195 pounds in the period between the beginning of April and the end of July. I haven't been around a scale since then, but I continue to feel lighter all the time. I can lift myself up and around on metal bars now, for example. Couldn't do that before.

Be that as it may, the exercise has been hitting my weight.

I recently realized that the word "meme" has suddenly started to mean "image macro".

I recently realized that the word "meme" has suddenly started to mean "image macro".

It's meant that for most people for awhile now. Shame since it annoys pretty much anybody who knows it first from the scientific context *pouts*

Time to go memetic darwinism on some fools?

Is that a thing? If not, can it be?

... though technically, isn't that image, in fact, a meme? Or at least the image as a symbolic representation of the transferral of ideas. Something like that.

By the internet definition, no. By the scientific one, yes. By the 9gag one, yes.

This is far more confusing than it has a right to be.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
