There was a thunderstorm earlier. First noticed it when there was a big flash of lightning. Cool, I thought.

Literally 10 seconds later the thunder went FUCKINGKABOOM which legitimately made me frightened every time I saw another flash of lightning because I didn’t know if it would be normal crappy groany thunder or the hoofbeats of the Four Horsemen ushering in Armageddon.

There was an earthquake earlier for me. My house started swaying for a good two minutes. Somewhat nauseating.

It was the combined energy being released as thousands of dead democrats in California's graves all rolled over and over and over again from Trump's military dictatorship parade.

A ridiculous and/or bizarre sequence of events just culminated in my phobia of germs rearing its head and costing me a $10 bottle of Stone's Green Ginger Wine that I was very much looking forward to cracking open.
Also a vaguely related incident sent q-tips flying everywhere.


Edit: I really should have put this in the sad thread. I'm just too distraught to think straight at the moment. It's especially bad because it was basically pretty much entirely my fault... I'm having a hard time externalising my "phobia of germs" enough to shift the blame from my own stupid shoulders.

So we have this cat that comes by mooching, hanging around the gardens around here and sleeping in the area overnight. Been doing this for months. Gets in the odd fight with another unneutered male in the area and harasses my neighbour's neutered male. My other neighbour has complained to his owner's that he wakes up their dogs at night and sets them off barking.

In the past few weeks he's been severely injured in the shoulder and scratched in the face, we caught him and told the people who own him that live a few streets away to come pick him up. A few days ago we noticed him limping and keeping one eye mostly closed, so we took a look and tried to clean his eye up and look for damage. Today he showed up with a clear eye infection to the point his eyelid is swollen, he has sneezing fits and harsh breathing.

The reason his owner's let him out and don't look for him for days or weeks at a time is because he's unneutered, sprays indoors and makes a fuss if kept inside and they find it annoying. They've let their cat get severely sick, injured and start losing weight because they can't be bothered dealing with the issues of him not being fixed or be bothered to get him fixed.

The fuck is wrong with some people?
