EDIT: It's 12:34 AM. I got home half an hour ago. Girlfriend still hasn't acknowledged my presence yet. Nevermind that she was out on secret business last night and that she's gone to bed around 1:30 or 2:00 AM the past couple nights, I'm still the asshole for staying out late at a friend's place.

EDIT2: I also sent a message 45 minutes ago saying I was coming home and if I should buy onion rings on the way back. No response to that either. I saw her coming out of the bathroom with her phone fifteen minutes ago, so I know she's had it with her.

Huh... I like pumpkin spice but mostly because it's a seasonal thing I have once a year.  And I like to celebrate the harvest, and all that Halloween-adjacent stuff~

But normally I like my rare desperate-morning coffee like I like my tea: unsweet and without creamer.  I'd say I care more about the caffeine than the taste, but there is something pleasantly... aggressive about black coffee.  Like covering hashbrowns in jalapenos just to reach my jaded taste buds, heh.

Accidentally opened my "defunct comics" bookmarks folder instead of my "active comics" one. Apparently, one of them that went dead in 2015 started being updated again last September. Not a bad surprise, but a surprise nonetheless.

I haven't had caffeine outside the occasional bits of chocolate in about a decade, now. Even prior to that, though, coffee tasted vile. Especially the aftertaste. Hot tea was alright. Soda tea was amazing but it might actually kill me these days, i'unno. Coffee is indeed not such a big deal. Signal stays strong, down with stimulant advocacy!

Black coffee best coffee.  Though I wont go as far as to say i like to brush my teeth with motor oil.  I like my light roast, since I drink several cups on a bad day.  Caffeine gives me a headache if i dont keep hydrated.

Coffee for me is purely functional. White, probably euro-style espresso and with a conciliatory teaspoon of sugar. Anything to make the process of intense caffeination as pleasant as possible.

Because ever since a minor run-in with caffeine overdose in my teenage years I can’t have more than one cup a day without getting nausea and shakyness.
