Checked with a physio about the damage I did my toe, since I can get free walk-ins. It's basically fine, but she figured she should buddy tape it to be sure, which is fair enough.

They were out of the thinner tape, though. So now I have this toe-parcel that could probably survive a nuclear attack.

Also, Spotify showed me a song I really really like. So, naturally, I checked out the album the song came off of. Every other song on that album is done in a completely different style from the one I liked, and is for the most part just a bunch of generic blecch. Where the hell did this one masterpiece come from?

But then why is the one song a stripped-down love song making an argument for the positive side of mortality and the eventual finality of time, while all the other songs are country-pop effect fests with generic trashy lyrics about "lol anxiety" or "lol white people"? That strikes me as extremely backwards if we're talking about selling out for mass appeal.
