The damn cat will not leave my cables alone. It was bad enough when she cut the Wii sensor bar - that's inconvenient, even if it isn't hard to fix. This time? She clawed the hell out of the cable to my Oculus Rift - which will cost $50 to replace if I can't do a splice job on it. To make matters worse, I've already been giving serious thought to buying the new one when it comes out and selling the old one to cover part of the cost - replacing the cable will offset most of that, and nobody's going to buy a used VR headset with a missing or spliced cable.

That's not a solution I've heard before, and it might be worth a try. A lot of people suggest the "bitter apple" spray, but that smells so bad that the cure would almost be worse than the disease.

So the ATM deposit from last night finally got trough. Except steam says I don't have enough moolah on the card to buy anything, despite the bank app claiming otherwise. Every other damn weekend I get texts from the bank that they're doing some work on the system and the app might not work because of it, the one weekend they don't send anything of the sort, shit breaks down completely.

Further card fuckery. The money was on the card by this morning and I bought a game off of steam for it, then I bought a model off of amazon afterwards, with clearly enough cash on the card for it. It went trough completely fine and subtracted the amount needed off of my balance. Now I get a message from amazon that it's not working properly and that I need to revise my payment method. It also lists the order I tried making yesterday and failed due to aforementioned atm fuckery. I cancelled that order and tried again this morning and that one seems to be fine?

So I'm not sure if it's trying to buy me the same damn thing a second time after I cancelled it or what the fuck is happening here.
