I was about to post this as is, but then it hit me...

The following sequence is the absolute value of the numerator of the nth derivative of x^1/3 evaluated at x=1.
a(n)= {1, 1, 2, 10, 80, 880, 12320, 208440, 4188800, 96342400, 2504902400...}
Searching this sequence, excluding the first term, in the OEIS yields A008544, "Triple factorial numbers: Product_{k=0..n-1} (3*k+2)".
Repeating the procedure for x^1/2 yields:
b(n)= {1, 1, 3, 15, 105, 945, 10395, 135135...}
Again, excluding the first term, this is sequence A001147 in the OEIS, the double factorial of odd numbers.

There's some kind of pattern here.

Why did I write this? What compelled me to do this? Why did I do this to myself? Why am I doing things for the sake of doing them? Sure, the things that come out of it are interesting, I guess, but why? It's like I'm hitting things with a hammer, and being amused when the things break. What else would come of it? That they don't break?
