I say it's about time we get a gatekeeper, things have gotten a bit crazy.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Oh and I shall be the potkeeper ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

We definitively need a Gatekeeper and a Keymaster, as to expeditate the Traveller's mannifestation in our world

Heresy! Real men drink coffee as black as their souls and sour as their lives.

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?
My ship exploded midflight, but all the shrapnel totally landed on Alpha Centauri before anyone else did.  Bow before me world leaders!

Which is why my coffee is lily-white and sweet as the cherubim.

I'm sorry you have to go through that, but could you put a trigger warning on posts like that in future? :P

The true way to prepare coffee or tea is whichever way you most enjoy it.
Pfaugh! Pure heresy! NOBODY enjoys coffee. The true way to prepare it is with maximum caffeine for personal tolerability.

Edit: Was listening to a thing on Sparta, where there was one Spartan for every seven slaves, but they were never challenged.
Was thinking about the comparisons to modern day America, where almost everyone is armed. Would a second civil war even be possible? What’s the military difference between the armed forces and the civilian population?
Obviously it’s a hypothetical, people are too comfortable for that kind of nonsense, but it’s interesting.

That's not entirely consonant with the historical record; we know of at least one helot revolt during the Third Messenian War, with several others less reliably attested to. There was also the Conspiracy of Cinadon, although that spread throughout the Spartan hierarchy.

That said, Thucydides (so, you know, grain of salt) does record that helot escapes were enough of a worry that the Athenians saw military value in facilitating them, apparently with considerable success. Whether or not that counts is up to you, but it does raise the question of whether helot revolts were rare in part because the madhouse the Spartiates built was porous enough to let the revolutionaries leave.

Um the military would curbstomp any legitimate military type attack effortlessly. A guerilla insurrection would work though.

Package tracking is informing me that my order is currently "in transit" and has an expected delivery time of an hour and a half ago.

Also I'm fairly certain I saw the package sitting in the mailbox when I got home three and a half hours ago.

I take a tipple of Monster every now and then, usually the Hamilton one, and mainly around exam time.

Tea wakes me up and energises me. Monster... we do not speak of what Monster does.

I've even seen some animals with arms. Honestly the NRA is doing a great job.
