I happen to work in a LTC facility, and this disturbs the fuck out of me.

I wonder what they'll tell her if she wakes up out of her coma and learns that she has a child.

Browsing used cars, since it looks like I'm going to need one soon. I don't know what's more irritating - people listing cars in Good condition with the description "NEEDS MOTOR MOTOR WILL NOT TURN", or people who list a car as an automatic before mentioning the "light to tell you when to shift" and "new clutch" (which obviously are found only on manual transmission cars) as features.

That's just the automotive equivalent of people calling the main system unit the "CPU" of a computer, or saying that it's in good working order but "started acting strangely a few weeks ago during a thunderstorm" etc.

Technically automatics have more clutches than manual transmissions: in addition to the lock-up clutch, there's a series of clutch packs in the planetary gear system.

I'm an aide too. Our company very recently put some partial addendums on the 'No male staff with female patients' rule - so that we now have a couple of unisex facilities.
But yeah, considering the amount of effort I go to in order to convince everyone that I'm not a predator, that is a bit shit.

I stuffed a loaf of bread in the freezer when i first got to college and it was still good a year later.

We froze bread and whenever we are going yo eat just put it on the microwave a few seconds. It's not bakery fresh but is still good and last an awful amount of time.

I also freeze bread, but I rarely ever put it in the fridge. Reheated bread is obviously not as tasty as fresh bread, but I don't think it's much different than day-old bread in any way.

I also haven't noticed any particular decrease in go-bad time after you unfreeze it compared to bread that was never frozen.

That actually has some measure of truth to it (even if the format makes no difference, many older recordings were badly digitized and suffered significant damage), so it doesn't really fit. There's one in there where a guy was selling ludicrously overpriced "perfect" vinyl.
