Cellar spiders and Harvestmen are common around my block. Sometimes Crane flies too, and giant house spiders, small hordes of ladybirds, the fairly frequent zebra spider and assorted moths/other spiders.

Might have fixed my PC's intermittent problem of waking itself from Sleep mode at all hours of the night(or day). Apparently it was my network adapter, which is set by default to wake the PC when it receives a data packet literally called "magic".

The Green Bay Packers interim head coach starts his tenure with two failed challenges. In the first 83 seconds of a 60 minute game.

You only get two challenges per game, and also get penalized a timeout (of which you get three per half) per failed challenge.

Guess he won’t be in contention for the permanent head coaching job.

In saying that, the first challenge should have been successful, and the second wouldn’t have happened had the first one succeeded. Even so, silliness.

WTF is a harvestman? At first glance I read that as "huntsman" which made perfect sense, I sure wouldn't want one of those abseiling into my tucker. I'm not sure I'd be too pleased if one decided to take up residence in my room like the daddy long-legs colony have, either... glancing up I can see at least two of 'em chilling up there this morning.
I took the flyscreen off my window and left my window open the other night, so at least they've presumably been eating well. Not sure how they were surviving before that.

Vegan, vegetarian or otherwise, I doubt I'd be too pleased about a spider dropping into my dinner. (Also yes it does.)
Sure, venomous=/=poisonous but I'd still feel pretty leery about eating one... plus it'd be super gross in any case.   



Oh yeah, this morning's new WTF: I accidentally used the cup I've been making chai lattes in for coffee and now my usual black coffee tastes all spicy and exotic and weird. Can't decide if the end result is grouse or gross.

Also spiders, but eh... Spiders are like the Nirvana of arachnids; everyone knows about them, but they're hardly the most interesting specimen of their kind.
