I have another WTF: people calling and saying that a 1-2 day parcel delay during the Christmas season is totally uncalled for and they are going to make complaints to the attorney general about it. Once I had someone sputter out that they were calling the surgeon general, and I'm proud to not have chortled outright.

Also my favorite WTF customer statement is that they are going to call the 6 o'clock news on us because their package got held up. I can see it now: Mr. Smith's package did not arrive on time, more at 11.

Also, insider info folks, order your Christmas stuff EARLY. A lot of the big, national shipping companies are having spectacular problems this year and it's either going to fix in a week or so, or get much worse by the 25th.

In Italy, the bus tour guide pointed out little tunnels mined beneath roads, and low green nets arranged in funnel-like shapes.

Apparently the toads would hop onto the road and get killed, so the Italians built them their own roads under the ground so they could reach appropriate spawning grounds.

It is the only time I have found something which is Italian cute. _{(Except the women)}

My WTF for today was checking the moderation log and realizing that I've been on Bay12 for all but the earliest six bans listed there. Presumably the oldest ones get rotated out or something, because I could have sworn there were earlier ones at some point. I'll have to check if Aerie's name is still there next time the log gets updated.
