Well, it got stumped when I guessed Annoying Dog from Undertale.

I went with a character from Worm and it got it within 30 questions while only getting a single actual specific "yes". Crazy.

However, I tried it with characters from some more obscure stuff (Ace Combat 3, Worth the Candle) and... yeah, not really.

Hah, akinator didn't know the characters of "If on a winter's night a traveller". So it hasn't learnt to read books or wikipedia articles yet.

I tried Raskolnikov first, which it got on the second guess as well (to be expected if it got Bezukhov). I then tried Mr. Jones from Animal Farm, which it failed.

Eowyn is basically the coolest character in LOTR, but only if you read the books. I'm re-reading it after a long time.

I don't recall Eowyn being changed all that much in the films, although that might have been me mentally filling in the blanks. Certainly, she didn't get the abuse Gimli and Faramir suffered in the transition.

Given how long the movies are some dialog has to be trimmed, lest you get 2 hours of talking and no action or anything else. Books don't need to worry about the bladder strength of cinema audiences.
