I was cleaning out my Steam yesterday (needed to free up some space for Monster Hunter, which turned out to be much smaller than I expected anyway), and I realized that Steam has an enormous oversight in the UI.


There's no description of the game in the library page. I suppose this is fine if you're extremely selective in what games you buy, but if (like me) half your library came from bundles, there's a good chance you won't know what half of them are - which makes browsing through them for something different to play a bit of a pain.

Let me tell you about the first thing I did at work today.

1- Check emails from customer
2- Receive one about how our delivery guy arrived at his home, did not ring his bell or try to deliver, and threw his parcel over a fence.
3- Unbeknownst to many (apparently, there were press releases after all) l we have also implemented the whole "take a photo of the delivered parcel" after we leave it.
4- The photo is of a nude hispanic gentleman literally accepting the parcel through his front door. His hand is holding the package, and he is clearly taking it from our driver. The parcel is tastefully excluding the naughty bits in the photo.

I eventually told them to just google Avenue Q, this will result in them either realizing that dirty puppet comedy has been thing for more than a decade or they will start flipping out about that now. They might also just have a fit of the vapors and swallow their own larynx in a rage. Waiting for results.

It literally exists to get them talking about how upset it makes them so that their demographic of rebellious late-teens will go see that movie their dad doesn't want them to see. Naturally they oblige, and with gusto.

Quick edit: My mother was positive that Pokemon was various Satan tricks while I was growing up. She's gotten much better, but there's plenty of family to go around, as it were.
