You know, many internet radio stations have a shoutcast stream that they use. iHeart stations I know for SURE use one. Shoutcast is not that difficult to implement. (See for instance, a very lightweight python based system-tray radio applet called radiotray. it weighs in at a few kb.)

Instead of licensing a dozen or so songs, just partner with iHeart or somebody, and stream actual radio. (I am sure the lawyers will fuck it up though. They always do.)

That is really for the best. GTA Radio never had that many songs to begin with (even before you consider how many song slots are wasted on rap), so the music gets really repetitive. The charm of the radio is in the faux commercials and the dialogue, so talk stations give the best experience.

Man, I gotta agree with you hector, the talk shows were great.  So was blasting Rammstein from a yellow cab.


I remember a time when I scratched my GTAIII disk, and the game would crash if I tried to enter a yellow cab.  Never any other time.  Which made the first island a joke when you had to start waay over by the hood.

Switching one lane usually does not trigger the mechanism.  The ticking is ignored.

My dad is hard of hearing.  He drives for hours with the turn signal on.  Insists it is not on when you tell him, even when you can see the dash indicator blinking away.

Left turn signal in my jeep doesnt turn off automatically and theres no sound indicator, so i am guilty of this too.
