I'm pretty sure that post was written by either a fan or some sort of (really terrible) PR team. It even says "us" at least once, as well as describing the book as great... although perhaps the dude is actually arrogant enough to say such things.

Also, who puts, "a novel" on the front of their book? Like, were they worried it would be mistaken for nonfiction? I'm sure that's a publisher decision, but it really hints at wanting to be taken more seriously than they are.

It's further away and contract but there isn't the politics in your work mates at least not except if contract continues.... I wish I hadn't bought this house. Thankfully, it was cheap (crappy fixer upper), and would be nice if my health allowed fixing it up.... I might be able to stay closer by with a friend, though not sure how that may pan out.

Work has been insane, I devoted myself to it, but the locals never wanted me or anyone..... My boss loves me.... I show up early, leave late, minimal days off and bitching ( surgery). Despite never getting anyone in trouble and helping everyone, they HATE me. Evidently, I know nothing and am impossible to work with..... If that's true,  then why is my old boss who regulates this field so eager to have me back?

$0 budget; 0 buy in; bullying; 0 security; 0 independence; 0 authority..... 0 access to needed materials after months of myself and high level execs asking.... I've been freefalling while catching multiple skyfall events and fixing them with no resource despite hostility. I embrace the shit, attempt fix and leave no one behind.... Also, credible Intel suggests an unqualified person being promoted due to favoritism: 0 qualifications, experience, or pointing out problems to fix.

I've heard bad things about him, mostly on here, but having never read any of his work (as far as I can remember) I tend to either get him confused with other authors (like that David Eddings cunt) or forget his existence entirely.
