Heh, it's probably old news, but I still get a chuckle out of the USA's famous nuclear launch codes that spies are always trying to steal in the movies actually being "00000000" in real life, because they found out that farting around with the original codes was too unreliable.

And the fact that a food deliverer once found a silo command center's door propped open with the officers asleep. That's how easy a terrorist launch would be ... get a job in catering then punch some zeros in when you're lucky enough to find the silo unattended.

Finally home. Whew, I'm tired.
Those days and late nights of junk food, beer and lazing around playing videogames really took it out of me. Seriously - I feel so unhealthy.
Had the first instance of asthma (not quite so severe to be classed as an "attack", I don't think) I've had in freaking ages.
Now I need to gather some energy, struggle through some exercise and eat a decent meal. Might doze off before then, though. As much as naps are usually the enemy, I think I might need one.


Bonus WTF: last night I watched Escape From Tomorrow.
I had no idea what to expect... wow, that was quite a ride. Highly recommended for anyone and everyone.

Get some sodium hydroxide (of whatever commercial brand) and it'll eat through all that deposit. Just make sure there's no aluminium in your piping.

Well, the drain in my shower's not doing its job.

Did this last year, though I moved out last time before it became an issue. Less than 2 weeks in this time.

I tried unblocking it. It's some weird fucking system. There's a little... "cistern" thing in the middle of the plug, and it drains at the top around the edges of the cistern. Said edges are clogged, and I mean CLOGGED with hair (Way more than even I could have dropped, in spite of my present balding). So, I donned some marigolds and started to remove as much as possible. I didn't get much because it turns out it's fucking HARD.

Probably going to have to ask if they can get someone to sort it, I sure as hell can't. In the meantime, I'll have to have showers that last less than 3 minutes so I don't flood the bathroom. There was still water in there from my shower I had 4 hours ago.

WHY they went for this retarded plug over a conventional and fucking WORKING plug is beyond me.

HOT BLEACH.

Heat the bleach in the microwave in a glass container with a handle. pyrex measuring cup is ideal. Heat it to boiling. Pour it very slowly down the drain. It obliterates hair in seconds.
